What is a Beverly Hills Realtor Doing in El Salvador? Well, not looking at high end real estate, that’s for sure! Ben Lee took 5 days off last month to travel to rural El Salvador with some old friends for a surf trip. There is a fantastic surf resort called “Las Flores” located about 2 hours from San Salvador, off of a dirt road. The resort is separated from the rest of the world by a 15 foot gate, guarded by a local with a double barreled pistol-grip shotgun. That was the first point of the trip where we asked ourselves, “where are we?” But what we found was a fabulous resort with picture perfect waves. http://www.wavehunters.com/lasfloressurfclub/ The food was wonderful, the staff courteous, and nothing to do but eat, drink and surf. It’s great to get away, especially since Baby #3 is due to Ben Lee Properties in September, and this will surely be the last surf trip for years!  |
